Welcome to Reborn Church

On behalf of our entire team at Reborn Church, welcome! Reborn Church is on a mission to love Jesus and others, radically. Formed primarily as an online church, Reborn Church is a continuation of the ministry we’ve been engaged with for about a decade. Reborn Church, formerly My Emanuel, is the next step in our deepest desire to make the name of Jesus know around the world.

Over the next several weeks and months we will be updating our website, solidifying some operational needs, and launching new ministries as God leads. You can connect with us in 3 primary ways: Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. Reborn Church has 3 primary missions as a church:

  • Proclaim the name of Jesus and the certainty of salvation through faith alone in Jesus alone (Romans 10:9). You may hear this referred to as “evangelism”, and this is a huge part of who we are as a people. We want the whole world to have the opportunity to know the good news of Jesus (John 3:16).
  • Encourage, challenge, and equip followers of Jesus to fully devoted disciples. You may hear this referred to as “discipleship”, and this is also a huge part of who we are. We are doers of God’s Word (James 1:22) and we feel led to encourage and equip others to be too.
  • Equip and send out disciples to proclaim the name of Jesus in their community and throughout the world. You may hear this referred to as “missions”, and this is the 3rd pillar of our mission as a church. We believe it is the duty of every believer to share Jesus with those they love, know, and interact with (Matthew 28:19-20).

Over the next few weeks we will be taking care of some important foundational statements and proclamations. What do we believe? What will we do as a church? How can you get plugged in and engaged? All those are important questions. Let us start here: we believe that the Bible is the inspired, God breathed, perfect revelation from the Creator of the Universe to mankind. We believe that all Scripture is perfect, profitable, and useful for teaching, correcting, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Please contact us at socialmedia@wearereborn.church if you have specific questions, prayer needs, or we can serve you in some way. If you see references to “My Emanuel” throughout our site, images, etc., remember we are the same ministry. We have an abundance of tools, articles, devotional resources, and more at the My Emanuel website and encourage you to take a look around.

Be on the look out soon for us to address a few questions:

  • Why “another” church?
  • How can I get involved?
  • What can I be in prayer for about Reborn Church?

Until then, may our good God bless you, sustain you, encourage you, and strengthen you, in Jesus name, amen.
